Building an agent takes an afternoon, but who owns the responsibility for it?
Security teams are asking the same question in technical terms. An agent running on your identity disappears when you leave. One with its own identity keeps running, tied to no one. Almost no framework links it back to a person. Law firms are settling on internal guardrails before regulation arrives.
Someone has to own the agent's access, its mistakes, and what happens after its builder is gone. Most companies haven't named that person yet.
